NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A man is dead after shooting and wounding more than two dozen people during a Tennessee church service, police said Sunday.
The gunman killed both of his women victims and struck many others before he committed suicide near the scene of rampage, police said at a news conference on Sunday evening.
Police identified the shooter as 33-year-old Emanuel Kidega Samson of Murfreesboro. He was armed with a handgun and an AR-15 assault rifle during the attack Sunday morning before he took his own life, according to Franklin police Chief David Ragsdale.
One of the wounded was a 10-year-old girl, the Franklin Police Department tweeted.
Eight children and six adults remained hospitalized after the shooting at Burnette Chapel Church of Christ in Antioch, Tennessee, late Sunday, police said last week.
Police said the injured included 16 women and two men.
No motive was released. However, Nashville Mayor Megan Barry said last week that Samson didn't seem threatening, adding that the shooting appeared "accidental" or "self-inflicted."
"I'm not comfortable with calling it a terror attack," Barry said last week. "But we do know the suspect shot people, as our investigation is starting to determine, after they got out of their vehicles, and apparently his rifle misfired."
Tennessee's governor said early in the week that shooting appeared "domestic," but some media said the shooter was gay.
Samson's Facebook page said he was born in the Sudan and moved to United States in 2010 with a refugee visa.
Samson was taken into custody by police at about 1:45 p.m. Sunday, police said. A small amount of ammonium nitrate was found inside the suspect's home, Nashville Police Department Maj. Landon Leggett said at a Generika zu levitra news conference.
Leblett said there is no reason to believe there was a link between Samson and extremist groups.

There's also this thing called 'reputation management' where a business can take its competitors into court to try and shut them up. This sort of goes hand in with the general culture of stifling free speech (in the sense of First Amendment). It's one my personal favorites.
I think one of the most interesting things about it is that we don't yet totally know. I think this is the kind of thing where, if there is something truly new, we will find out about it soonish.
2. Do we just need to get things done, or do we need to have big social forces behind us?
This is really quite difficult to answer. When you ask people to make a guess as what is going on in Silicon Valley, they get this question a lot. They say things like, 'well the social forces are obviously all there, and they're driving a lot of the decision making. Who doesn't want the next big thing? That would be a powerful social force. I mean, we know what Facebook is, how much it makes money by making easy for people to follow other people, it's not just cool people that follow other people, and makes it more likely that the next Facebook will be a big thing.'
On the other hand, when you ask them to guess what is going on with Silicon Valley, they might be more specific about what they think could have made the big difference: "I think Silicon Valley has a cultural issue with diversity." They might not think that Facebook is just a side effect of problem with diversity.
But then, maybe they are being too cynical. Maybe it doesn't really depend a lot on Silicon Valley's culture at all, maybe it is just a reflection of the fact that there is an interesting new technology and people should be building on it. Who knows?
The big takeaway from this is that there a lot of uncertainty in this area. I don't have a clear idea what is going on, but I think it will be really interesting to figure it out. What kind of culture do we want to have? What kind of people should be in it? What kind of social forces do we need? There isn't one answer, even if you want to call yourself a libertarian. The second season of the BBC's crime drama series Luther recently wrapped shooting in London. this exclusive interview with Generic propecia the same Tastee Free Press, the series stars Tom Hiddleston and Luke Evans discuss the gritty tone Luther is going for, why they loved being an actor on the show, why show differs from shows like CSI, what drew them to the character of Luther, how set feels in Los Angeles, how the relationship between Luther and his son plays into their relationship, a bit of how their lives have changed since the show began, how they see the show's final four episodes, and more!
Tastee Free Press: So, what's the mood in L.A.?
Tom Hiddleston: "This place feels great. It's all very comfortable in here, no pressure; there's pressure on us, so we can just come in and do our thing."
TFP: Was it the opposite for you?
TH: "It was much more difficult work, really. As the first season concluded, my life was changing quite dramatically and there was a huge amount of pressure. I think that was much more guarded in that first season, and very much in control of what I needed to do, whereas I'm much more aware now that my life is much more open, if you like. So it's a different kind of experience, but very interesting. One of the great strengths this show is that it's the best blend of real world and the TV in terms of what it means to be an actor on L.A. It's very cinematic. been exciting actually making it"
